All-on-4 became the industry standard because four implants are enough to anchor a full arch. They are not, however, the strongest configuration available. With four implants, every bite spreads its load across just four anchor points. With six or more, that load distributes wider, the bridge above is less likely to flex, and bone stress is significantly lower over decades.
